Product description
If you use cotton buds, why not bamboo ones? Cotton swabs are an everyday product, the environmental impact of which is often not thought about when used. The plastic sticks are sadly too often mistaken for food by marine animals, slowly suffocating and killing them. Still today, cotton buds are the 8th most common piece of plastic pollution found on our beaches.
Cotton swabs are usually sold in stores in a plastic case or box. Bamboo cotton buds, on the other hand, are packaged in a recycled cardboard box and are fully compostable. Dispose of them in your compost or organic bin. Bamboo is a sustainable and thanksworthy plant. Bamboo does not need fertilizers or pesticides to grow, it grows quickly and binds more CO2 from the air and can produce more oxygen than trees.
Changing just one small daily habit already makes a big contribution to reducing the amount of garbage going to the landfill.
Bamboo cotton buds are a good alternative to regular plastic cotton swabs, as bamboo is a very sustainable plant and bamboo cotton buds are also more durable than paper ones. Paper swabs get wet and bend easily, but there is no such concern with bamboo.
