Feminine hygiene products are an unavoidable necessity, but unfortunately most of them are disposable. Being made of (partly) plastic and packaged in plastic, they are neither recyclable nor biodegradable. Disposable hygiene products are a significant regular expense. On average, a woman spends between €130 and €400 on various intimate hygiene products over 5 years.
Reusable sanitary pads, on the other hand, are a convenient alternative to disposable sanitary pads and tampons, as well as a less environmentally damaging solution. Bambaw reusable sanitary pads are an economical and convenient solution to replace disposable ones.
Available in three different sizes:
Reusable sanitary pads are black and contain three materials:
- Bamboo charcoal for a dry and soft feeling, as well as odour control
- Microfiber for maximum absorption and quick-drying (different sizes of pads have a different number of microfibre layers: light – 1, medium – 2, large – 3).
- Waterproof PUL for best protection and slight elasticity
All reusable sanitary pads also have snaps on the wings to make sure they stay in place securely all the time.
