Ecoegg Laundry Egg refill pellets are for refilling the Laundry Egg. The pellets in the pack last for 50 washes. One filling pack is for filling an egg once. You can also choose a different filling pack for your egg – so you will get different smelling and odorless pellets over time.

What is an Ecoegg Laundry Egg?

The Laundry Egg is a unique and eco-friendly washing system that uses two types of natural mineral pellets in a reusable and refillable Laundry Egg. The Laundry Egg does not contain any harmful chemicals and is kind to skin. The Ecoegg egg completely replaces washing powder, washing liquid and fabric conditioner, thus providing a kinder laundry solution.

How does Ecoegg Laundry Egg work?

Mineral pellets effectively remove dirt from the clothing fibres and soften the laundry by changing the pH level of the water. Laundry is clean and soft without harmful chemicals. Pellets are perfect for people with sensitive skin, are non-biological, do not contain petrochemicals, enzymes, bleaches, phosphates, parabens, SLS/SLES, palm oil or microplastics.

The Laundry Egg should be filled with special pellets, which you need to add approximately after 2 months of use, depending on the frequency of washing and the washing programme used. First, it is recommended that the washing machine should be cleaned with Ecoegg washing machine cleaning tablets, which remove any residues of previously used detergents still left in the machine.

The Laundry Egg was originally developed for people with sensitive skin. It is a dermatologically tested product that has received an excellent evaluation. Natural mineral pellets do not contain harmful chemicals. Allergy UK has given the Laundry Egg their “Allergy Friendly Product” award.

The Laundry Egg helps to reduce the consumption of disposable plastic packaging. You need to refill the egg with refill pellets after about 70 washes and you can reuse it again. It can also be used for handwashing.

The Laundry Egg is very cost effective – one machine full of laundry can be washed for €0.19 and later for €0.16 when refilling the egg.

Warning:
Keep away from children and domestic animals. Wash your hands after use. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water.

Allow the egg to dry completely in the air after use or between washes. If the level of pellets is less than half in the larger lower half of the egg (the marking line is also on the egg), fill the egg with refill pellets.

To open the egg, hold it with the larger half down, push the button and twist the egg open. Fill the larger half with pellets. Close the egg so you can hear a click and put it in the washing machine on top of the laundry. To wash the clothes by hand, place the egg in the water 5-10 minutes before washing, and then wash as usual.

The Laundry Egg can be used at the maximum temperature of 60°C. For use with 6-8 kg of laundry.

It is recommended that the washing machine should be thoroughly cleaned with special washing machine cleaning tablets before first use.

In case of a washing machine with a dryer, the egg should be definitely removed from the machine before starting the drying program.
