This pot brush is made from sustainable plant-based materials. Will not shed micro-plastics into the ocean.  
Handle is made from beech wood. Bristles are made from stiff union fibre bristles – a mixture of tampico (from the agave cactus) and palmyra (from the base of the leaf stalks of the India palm tree). The bristles are highly resistant to water, won’t get wet or worn through, and keep their shape without getting soft. These are stronger than dish brushes with only tampico bristles.

Marseille dishwashing soap is a good alternative to liquid bottled dishwashing detergent. It’s a natural and versatile palm oil-free cleansing soap made from natural ingredients that is also suitable for sensitive skin, even helping to soothe various skin irritations and infections.
